News: Open Door Day at Torrevieja Animal Shelter

The Department of Animal Protection at the Torrevieja Town Hall has informed that given the success of the first edition of the open door day that was held in September at the Municipal Animal Shelter, the same event will be repeated tomorrow, November 4th.

Volunteers of the Animal Rights Association of Torrevieja will parade down Calle Nenúfares with dogs seeking adoption. This way those people interested in adoption can watch the animals out of the cages.

In addition, attendants will have the opportunity to see a good number of cats up for adoption and will hopefully be able to give them a home.

There will also be a vegan tasting and refreshments, a children's workshop and a charity sale.

The event is taking place tomorrow from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
