News: ​Record year for real estate investment in Spain

According to a study by the real estate consulting firm CBRE, real estate investment in Spain will break a record in the fourth quarter of 2016, when the 7.5 billion euros figure is expected to be reached.

This is almost the same amount registered in 2011, 2012 and 2013 together. CBRE also estimates that the real estate sector will exceed 13.9 billion in investment at the end of 2016, more than half of which will occur between October and December. In percentage terms, the increase will be of 8% compared to 2015, and of 45% compared to 2014.

The tendency of growth was seen in all segments, with 37% of the total investment in Spain´s real estate coming from abroad, particularly from USA, Germany and the United Kingdom.
