Orihuela Costa is one of the most exclusive areas south of the Costa Blanca. With 17 km of beautiful sandy beaches, surrounded by natural landscapes and coves of turquoise water, enjoying 320 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of 20 °, Orihuela Costa collects all the charms of the Mediterranean Sea.

Most of the beaches in Orihuela Costa boast the Q for Quality flag granted by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade. This is the highest recognition for tourism in Spain.

The Orihuela Costa beaches are Punta Prima, Cala Mosca, Cala Estaca, Cala Cerrada, Cala Bosque, Cala Capitán, La Caleta, Aguamarina, La Glea, Barranco Rubio and Mil Palmeras. Here are some details about the most visited beaches in Orihuela Costa.

Punta Prima is a narrow cove divided into two levels with an area of 170 meters long by 14 metres wide, bordered by a short promenade and can be accessed by ramps and stairs. It is located in a semi-urban area so it has a high occupancy.

Playa Flamenca beach has a length of 150 meters with an average width of 16 meters and is an open sandy beach located in a semi-urban area. Playa Flamenca has a lovely promenade full of shops, bars and restaurants where you can taste the typical dishes of the area and is easily accessible.

La Zenia is one of the busiest beaches of Orihuela Costa. It is an open, sandy beach with an area of 350 meters long and 60 wide. Among the many services offered it includes the possibility of practicing all kinds of water sports. It also offers security services, special access for the disabled, playground, etc. Next to this beach you can also find numerous restaurants serving fine dining and hotels to stay.

Cabo Roig beach covers an area 420 metres long and 18 metres wide. It is a cove type beach and it is accessed through ramps and stairs. This beach offers a number of services to sunbathing lovers and all sorts of water sports are available (sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing, etc).

La Glea beach in Campoamor is one of the largest beaches of the municipality, covering an area of 650 meters long with an average width of 20 meters. Campoamor has a promenade and multiple services as well as a marina where you can practice all kinds of water sports.
