News: ​Orihuela Costa day trips and excursions

Orihuela Costa is extremely popular with tourists, especially because of the beautiful sandy beaches and the excellent weather. Nevertheless, if you would like to do something different apart from sunbathing in order to make your holiday in Orihuela Costa special, then you can go on a day trip.

If you are into boat trips, you can hire a boat from the Campoamor marina or the Cabo Roig marina, or you can travel to the wonderful Island of Tabarca from the nearby town of Torrevieja. Tabarca is a great place to spend the day with friends or family.

There are several walking and mountaineering associations in Orihuela organising plenty of day trips in and around Orihuela Costa. This will allow you to explore the area a bit further. Or you can go horse riding at the Dehesa de Campoamor, just five minutes drive from La Zenia.

If you feel like preparing a day trip with the children, probably the best option is heading to one of the theme parks in places like Santa Pola or Benidorm.
