News: Demand for luxury property in Spain on the rise

According to the latest public data, the demand for luxury homes in Spain has seen an 84% increase since 2013.

As far as prices are concerned, the average price of a luxury home in Spain is currently around 2 million euro, which is 6% higher than in 2013. Properties priced over one million euros are considered luxury properties.

The number of luxury properties currently on the market has also grown, with around 3.2% of the total amount of homes up for sale in Spain.

The Costa Blanca´s luxury real estate market remains buoyant overall with stabilised prices and exclusive properties situated in the most desirable locations, including Punta Prima, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor, among others.

Almost 80% of the luxury homes for sale in Orihuela Costa over come with a private swimming pool as well as other extras, such as air conditioning throughout, underfloor heating, automated blinds, etc.
