News: ​Campoamor children´s playground gets refurbishment

The children's playground situated on Calle Lope de Vega in Campoamor, one of the most sought-after areas in Orihuela Costa, is currently undergoing a refurbishment process. This park is a facility largely used by residents of the apartment blocks located directly behind the Campoamor Marina.

Orihuela mayor, Emilio Bascuñana, was recently in the area together with the Services Coordinator for the Orihuela Costa, Sofía Álvarez, in order to inspect the refurbishment work that is being carried out.

The complete renewal and enlargement of the playground will take about sixty days to complete and will cost 55,000€ that will be paid by Orihuela Town Hall´s department of Infrastructure.

The works will also allow for the installation of safety rubber flooring and the expansion of the park entrance for easy access of maintenance vehicles. Street lighting will also be improved in the area, while the fencing surrounding the park will be repainted.
