Orihuela Costa records warmest January day since 1973

The Valencian Community recorded its warmest and driest January day in more than 45 years with temperatures rising to 26,5 degrees Celsius on the Orihuela Costa, Costa Blanca South.

January 23rd was the warmest day on record since 1973, as temperatures exceeded 26 degrees Celsius in most southern towns, with Guardamar del Segura recording 25,3 degrees Celsius and Torrevieja reaching 25 degrees Celsius. So far this is the warmest winter since the year 2000.

Under a radiant sky and these very nice temperatures, taking a walk or lounging on the sand are very suggestive proposals. There are some wonderful beaches nearby, including the ones in Alicante, Benidorm, Torrevieja, Orihuela Costa, Pilar de la Horadada...
