News: New transport service connects Alicante airport with Orihuela Costa

The Councilor for Urban Transportation, Begoña Cuartero, has signed an agreement with the Costa Azul bus company and the local taxi association of Orihuela Costa to transfer tourists and residents to the aiport.

Residents and tourists need to make an online reservation to be transferred by taxi to the bus station of Torrevieja and, from there, by bus to the Alicante-Elche airport.

The Alicante-Elche airport is one of the busiest in Spain and only 40 minutes´ drive from such popular tourist areas as Torrevieja and Orihuela Costa.
