News: ​Norwegian and Swedish tour operators visit the Costa Blanca

A group of Norwegian and Swedish tour operators are currently visiting the Costa Blanca in order to explore the possibilities of sports tourism in the province of Alicante, Spain. As the deputy of Tourism Eduardo Dolon said, the aim of the trip is for the tour operators to experience first hand what they will then transmit to their customers in their respective countries of origin.

The event has been launched in collaboration with the Valencian Agency for Tourism and the organizers trust that it will help promote the Costa Blanca as a sports tourism destination. The Alicante province is an international benchmark in sports such as golf, rowing and cycling, particularly thanks to the fantastic weather which allows for the arrival of sport players throughout the year.

During their stay in the Alicante province, the group has been visiting several sports facilities in towns like La Nucía, near Benidorm. The group is also taking the opportunity to taste the most emblematic products and typical dishes of the area.
