Holiday Rental Apartment Punta Prima

Useful Tips for renting an apartment in Spain

Renting accommodation becomes an alternative for those who want to escape from hotels and enjoy the freedom that gives life, for a few days, without schedules or routines and with the sea just around the corner.

If you choose the option of renting a home, you have to take into account that there are three ways to do it: go to real estate companies that offer this type of housing, jump to browse the newspaper ads in search of the house that meets our tastes and preferences, or browse the numerous web portals dedicated to renting properties.

It is also good that you follow these tips:

Before renting.

Carry out all procedures through a qualified real estate agent, and that the owner is an Real Estate Agent (API) with physical address and not just virtual. Your commission is about 20% of the final price for short stays and a monthly rent for the whole season.

If in the end the agreement is between individuals, it is advisable to visit the property and check their status, both the furniture and appliances.

If the property you rent is abroad or your visit involves a large displacement, it requires photographs of the house, accesses and plans.

Payment of the signal.

The most used payment system is the bank transfer. To avoid deception, the tenant must verify that the owner of the account in which he must pay the figure and the owner of the property are the same person. To do this, you can ask the owner for a document that certifies it.

The receipt must include the name of the tenant and in the concept: "Booking of rental of apartment on vacation".

Once the signal is delivered, it is advisable to seal the deal between the two parties with the signing of a rental agreement.

Delivery of keys.

Check the operation and condition of all appliances and appliances that the house contains. For this, the owner must draw up an inventory and deliver it to the tenant, who must check it.

Normally, the renter delivers the rent in cash and in advance, the amount to which the signal already paid will have been discounted and adding the amount of the deposit if any.

It is highly recommended to ask the owner for a telephone to locate you in the event of a breakdown or setback.
